Mileage/Airfare Reimbursement

If the student's permanent address and most recent campus residence are both outside a 50-mile radius of the work location, the student will be reimbursed for their travel expenses. This benefit varies based on Rockwell Collins location.

Housing Allowance

The sponsoring department will provide students with a fully furnished apartment with utilities if the student's permanent residence and most recent campus residence are outside a 50 mile radius of the work location. This benefit varies based on Rockwell Collins location.

Tuition Reimbursement

Co-ops students are eligible to receive tuition reimbursement for one core-class per term of work based on company tuition guidelines. 

Educational Leave of Absence

Co-op students are placed on an educational leave of absence when they return to school. This allows students to earn service time with the Company while attending school.

Savings Plan - 401K

Co-ops are eligible to enroll in the Rockwell Collins Savings Plan. After six months of service, Rockwell Collins will match 75 percent of employee contributions up to 8% of pay.

Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

Rockwell Collins provides company-paid coverage for medical, dental, and vision plans which cover basic and preventive care services. Co-op students are also eligible to buy more comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage through Rockwell Collins.

Holiday Pay

Co-op students are eligible for holiday pay for holidays that occur during the students active work session. 

Vacation Pay

Co-ops will accrue vacation time based on the amount of hours worked per month. This benefit administration varies based on Rockwell Collins location.
