Canadian experience

At Rockwell Collins we have extensive experience with Canada's military and its commercial aerospace industry.  Sikorsky selected Rockwell Collins to provide our integrated cockpit display solution, EyeHUD™ helmet mounted display, communications products and two Level D equivalent full-flight simulators for the Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program (CMHP). Concurrent development of the simulator and aircraft systems will enable Rockwell Collins to integrate the simulation into the avionics development, providing the end user an integrated training system that will maintain currency between the aircraft systems and full flight simulators.

In addition, Rockwell Collins has been selected to provide 40 Link 11 modem and data link processors for installation into the CH-148 Cyclone helicopters. Link 11 provides situational awareness over HF, UHF and SATCOM and is primarily used in NATO operations. The integration will be performed by General Dynamics Canada.

Rockwell Collins has provided previous avionics upgrades for Canada's C-130 program and was selected by Northrop Grumman Canada Corporation to develop advanced displays for the Canadian Forces (CF) and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F/A-18 aircraft.

Through our joint venture with Elbit Systems, we provide the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System for the Canadian and Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18.

We have also provided extensive flight deck and cabin electronics to Bombardier aircraft, including the recent selection of Pro Line 21 avionics and Airshow 21 cabin electronic systems for installation on the new widebody Challenger 605 business jet.
