Rockwell-Collins (UK) Ltd is the prime contractor for the Ground Recognised Air Picture (G-RAP) Interim Operational Capability, a significant element of the British Army’s Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD) system. G-RAP brings Link 16 situational awareness and a greater degree of safety to air defence forces.

Working closely with the customer, Rockwell-Collins captured their needs and developed a fully integrated system which met the requirements for flexibility, scalability, low cost and quick time to market.

Rockwell Collins (UK) Ltd is leading a team of  the skilled and experienced of suppliers, who include Cunning Running Software and Dytechna, to provide the customer with a system that exceeds expectations.

By combining the award winning software capabilities of ANZUS Inc. with our modular architecture approach, we provided a system which offers ease of use, scalability, and that can be easily reconfigured.

In addition to providing G-RAP in time of conflict, the system can also be configured to provide training and exercise Link 16 track data to air defence units in the field during peace time. Data can be recorded in the field and played back to analyse a previous exercise, or track data can be generated for a future scenario, providing the user with an invaluable training and simulation tool.
