Rockwell Collins' diversity and inclusion strategies include continued educational opportunities, both formal and informal,
for all employees.
Formal training
All employees complete Diversity Business Case training for a basic understanding of the business case for diversity for Rockwell
Collins. Leaders also attend diversity and inclusion training, as well as affirmative action training. Other courses available
for leaders include leading a multigenerational workforce and managing virtual teams.
Informal training
In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Rockwell Collins employees participated in the panel discussion,
"Creating an Inclusive Environment for Employees with Disabilities," in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa, headquarters on Friday, Oct.
17, 2008.
Rockwell Collins also provides informal education and training through our recognition of the nine awareness months. We provide
information about the awareness months through our communication vehicles, and we host a variety of learning events to coincide
with these months.
