Roadside Plantings

Volunteers assist on a year-round basis with the protection and enhancement of valuable roadside vegetation within the project area. In addition to restoring the natural habitat, the participants in the project are enlarging the existing habitat by constructing nest boxes for local threatened species, and maintaining a long-term habitat for the birds, mammals, and insects which act as natural pest controls.
