Employee Resource Groups

Through our eight employee resource groups, we offer our employees across the United States and around the globe the opportunity to meet peers and learn more about what our employees like to do professionally and personally. Connecting our similarities and learning from our differences are key to a successful diversity journey.

Our employee resource groups, led by employee volunteers, provide more ways for our employees who share common interests, cultures and backgrounds to get connected at our company through special events, professional development and mentoring opportunities.

We have active groups at various office locations in the United States (in California, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Oregon, Texas and Virginia) as well as around the globe in Hyderabad, India, and Burgess Hill, United Kingdom. The employee resource groups coordinate a range of activities, including:

  • Partnering with our internal recruiters on sourcing and retention efforts
  • Supporting on-site cultural awareness activities
  • Hosting ongoing speaker series and educational presentations
  • Offering mentoring and networking opportunities
  • Supporting volunteer and fundraising needs within their community

Currently, Rockwell Collins has the following employee resource groups:

  • African American Professionals Forum
  • Disability Network Group and Supporters
  • Friends of Asia Employee Resource Group
  • Latino Employee Network
  • Military and Veterans Employee Resource Group
