The U.S. Army has awarded Rockwell Collins the first of three phases in a program to develop the Degraded Visual Environment Pilotage System (DVEPS) for the U.S. Army’s Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) helicopters. The goal of the three-phase program is to develop and qualify a DVE solution that can be fielded by 2018.

Rockwell Collins has been selected by Boeing to provide its large-format flight displays as standard equipment on the 737 MAX flight deck. The agreement leverages Rockwell Collins’ flight display technology from the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Rockwell Collins has completed on schedule its first software delivery to The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] for the U.S. Army’s Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) program. This software provides additional EMARSS mission-specific functionality for the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 flight deck. The EMARSS program previously selected Rockwell Collins to provide its Pro Line 21 flight deck and additional mission capability for the Hawker Beechcraft King Air 350ER aircraft.
