Royal Canadian Navy selects Rockwell Collins 721S radio

Rockwell Collins has been selected to provide its 721S radio to the Royal Canadian Navy. The radios will complement naval platforms equipped with the Rockwell Collins Sub-Net Relay system, enabling naval forces to exchange operational information faster and more reliably.

Rockwell Collins Canada SubNet Relay Technology now a NATO standard

After several international trials, Rockwell Collins’ SubNet Relay (SNR) is now a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) standard. Subnet Relay has been ratified as NATO Standardization Agreement (STANAG) 4691 for Mobile Ad-Hoc Relay Line-of-Sight IP Networking (MARLIN).

Building on a longstanding record of solid leadership supporting the backbone of military communications, leaders of the Data Link Solutions (DLS) joint venture between BAE Systems and Rockwell Collins have signed an agreement to extend this successful relationship. A ceremonial signing took place at the Carnegie Library in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the agreement.

Rockwell Collins awarded Naval Research Lab contract for TacNet™ Tactical Radios

Rockwell Collins has been awarded a contract by the Naval Research Lab (NRL) to provide its TacNet™ Tactical Radio (TTR), a small form factor terminal, that will bring Link 16 networking capability to a broader range of military platforms. Deliveries will begin by February 2013.
